Who we are
EU Withdrawal AI (“EU Withdrawal AI”, “we”, “us” or “our”, as appropriate) respects an individual’s privacy and will only collect, use or disclose your personally identifiable information (personal information) in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We recognize every individual’s right to privacy and acknowledge our obligation to preserve the confidentiality of personal information.
This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, storage and disclosure of the personal information of the users (“User(s)” or “you”) of our website, our Shopify application and our services. EU Withdrawal AI is responsible for how we collect, handle and use this information.
EU Withdrawal AI reserves the right to update its Privacy Policy at any time and such modifications shall be effective immediately unless otherwise stated.
This Privacy Policy forms an integral part of the terms of use of our website, in addition to any terms specific to the use of our app and the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) provided to merchants, as applicable.
Core notice
What information do we collect?
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide — such as an order number, email address and an optional withdrawal reason submitted through the withdrawal form — as well as information a merchant’s store shares with the app in order to process a request.
Purposes of collection?
We process your information to fulfil the EU right of withdrawal: linking a request to its order, sending confirmation emails, keeping an audit trail and — where enabled — syncing to Shopify Returns and Flow. Processing is based on contract performance, our legitimate business interests, compliance with legal obligations and/or your consent.
Will your information be shared with anyone?
We only share information with your consent, to comply with the law, to provide the service you requested, to protect rights, or to fulfil business obligations.
Who will your information be shared with?
We may share information with Shopify and with third-party service providers — such as email delivery and hosting providers — who perform services on our behalf and require access to that information to do their work.
Access to and deletion of your personal information
You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted in certain circumstances. To make a request, contact us at privacy@eu-withdrawal-ai.mcma.app.
Data retention
We only keep personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this notice — including meeting statutory withdrawal and record-keeping periods — unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
What are your privacy rights?
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights over your personal information, including the right to withdraw consent and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Controls for Do-Not-Track features
Most browsers and some operating systems offer a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) setting. As no uniform standard for recognizing DNT signals has been finalized, this website does not currently respond to them; it also sets no advertising or analytics trackers.
Do we make updates to this notice?
Yes. We update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. The updated version is indicated by a revised date and becomes effective as soon as it is accessible.
